Science Fair Update

Science Fair is this Wednesday, February 24, 2016 @6:00 PM. 

Due to the snow storm (2/24), Science Fair is moved to Monday, March 7, 2016 @6:00 PM- 7:30. There was a school messenger voice mail released earlier today.

Any project that was turned in today has been graded and the scores were sent home.


Please note the changes sent to parents two weeks ago. All boards are expected to completed by Wednesday morning. If you need extended time, please let me know.

 Results, Conclusion and References should be last items to complete and place on the board.

Below are the rubrics. The first one is for a scientific experiment:

The procedure is missing and/or steps are missing key parts.

Data Collection/ Display
Data is represented with a unit of measurement and displayed with labels and titles.
Data does not have a unit of measurement and/ or key labels are missing.
Data is not accurate or not supportive of the project.

Conclusion/ Analysis
The conclusion answers the hypothesis with an well written analysis of the data. Reasons for errors are mentioned as support.
The conclusion somewhat answers the hypothesis w/o analysis of the data.
There is no conclusion.
Effort/ Neatness/ organization
The project is aligned neatly with evidence of organized work.
The project is somewhat neat. Project appears rushed.
The project is not neat and is rushed and messy.
