Date: June 11, 2016
Time: 10:00 AM- until you have to leave
Who: Anyone interested in helping, no experience needed

June 2016
June 2016
Thank you
June has almost arrived. Once again we have a packed month; this time it is not testing but fun filled activities to make their last month in fifth grade memorable.Thank you for all of your support and contributions. We survived over 7 hours of testing at the end of the school year. Everyone has shown growth in all subjects. I could not have asked for a better class and class-community.
A June 2016 Calendar will be sent home with 3 permission slips: Buhr Pool, Dairy Queen, and Rolling Hills Field Trips. Students are asked to contribute $5.00 or more to the entrance fee for Buhr Pool. The Dairy Queen Field trip is bring the amount you choose for the food item you desire; while on the contrary, Rolling Hills is covered by the PTO. Students may bring money for the snack bar if permitted by his or her parents.

No Homework
We now complete homework during class in the morning time. Students will only have homework if they do not complete a task during class.Health and Reproductive Health
This year in order to increase conversation at home, students will write in their planners the topic of today. Some may write a difficult question for his or her parents to answer. This strategy will allow you to engage in a meaningful discussion with your child. The entire packet will be sent home on the last day of school.
